Many of us write on them with a marker to identify DVD / CD discs. However, it does not look very nice and impressive. If you want to make art on discs, you'll need a LightScribe-enabled drive, which you can buy at almost any computer store today. If you have purchased this drive, then we will tell you how to apply a pattern to discs.
Necessary
- A blank disc that is intended to be used on this drive;
- Nero Cover Designer program;
- programs - utilities Template Labeler or Droppix Label Maker 2.9.
Instructions
Step 1
Insert a blank disc into the DVD drive with the matte side of the disc facing the bottom of the drive. Run the appropriate program.
Step 2
Run the Template Labeler utility and select the desired drawing template on disk. There are already about fifteen templates in the program's memory, but if they do not suit you, you can go to the official website of the developer company and download about one hundred and fifty different templates and blanks that are laid out there.
Step 3
After you have chosen a template, you need to edit it and bring it into a finished form. On the monitor screen, you will see a graphic image, which will subsequently appear on the disk on which you wanted to apply the drawing.
Step 4
At the final stage, you need to specify the degree of brightness and the number of copies of the picture. The brighter the drawing, the slower it will draw. One copy will, on average, take fifteen to thirty minutes to draw.
