You should not rush to a store or photo studio if you suddenly need to scan a document or photo - you may not even suspect that you already have a scanner!
Instructions
Step 1
The fact is that any modern camera, which almost everyone has, perfectly copes with the work of the scanner, and in some cases, the digital image obtained in this way significantly exceeds the image taken by the scanner.
Step 2
To use the camera as a scanner, set the photo quality settings to maximum and switch to macro mode. Typically, this mode is indicated by a flower icon. Some cameras have a special Copy mode for scanning, which may be indicated by the icon representing one or more sheets of paper.
Step 3
Place your document or photo on a flat surface and provide good lighting. The camera flash is not very well suited for shooting documents, and the best quality is usually obtained in natural daylight. Direct electric light can cause glare, so try to use soft, diffused light.
Step 4
Aim the lens, trying to keep the camera level, and take a picture. If the photo is not clear, try moving the camera away or zooming in. After just a few tries, you will achieve the desired result, and next time you will know exactly from what distance you get a good quality image.
Step 5
After you get a high-quality photo, you just need to copy it from the camera to your computer. Do this with a USB cable or card reader.
