When the printer signals an empty cartridge and refuses to print any more, most users know it's time to fork out for a new cartridge. Others begin to remember where and how much it can be refueled. And only a few philosophically shrug their shoulders and take out a tube of ink of the desired color.
It is necessary
- - filling syringe
- - ink of the desired color
Instructions
Step 1
For example, the procedure for refilling a cartridge from HP inkjet printers is given. Please note that a feature of these cartridges is the presence of a print head on them (unlike others), so they must be refilled immediately after the ink runs out, in order to avoid drying the head.
Step 2
Place the cartridge on a working surface (better if it is a newspaper or napkin) with the print head down and remove the sticker from its body.
Step 3
Fill the filling syringe with the required amount of ink (10 ml. For the black cartridge and 3 ml. For each color in color).
Step 4
Insert the needle into the filler hole of the cartridge to be refilled and inject ink until excess ink appears around the hole.
Step 5
Apply adhesive tape to the top of the cartridge to cover all openings and puncture it over the fill port.
Step 6
Clean the contact plate and printhead of the cartridge.
Step 7
You can now install the cartridge into the printer.
