In order to print photos, you do not have to visit a photo studio - this procedure can be done at home. This requires a printer that supports color printing.
Instructions
Step 1
If you do not have a printer for printing, choose one of those offered on the market: the most popular are devices from Epson, HP, Canon. Depending on the price category, they will have certain additional features.
Step 2
Purchase a set of color ink cartridges for your printer. Each model has its own specific types of cartridges. They can be either one-color or multi-color, they can be presented in a set or sold separately. To print photos, you need to purchase a color kit.
Step 3
Cartridges are classified as original and non-original. Original are those that are produced directly by the printer manufacturer. Non-original ones are produced by third-party manufacturers. Their advantages include a lower price, and their disadvantages are often worse quality and, perhaps most importantly, the deprivation of the printer's warranty.
Step 4
Another consumable that you will need for printing is photo paper. It comes in two types: matte and glossy. Choose the size according to your preferences: 10x15, 15x20 or A4. The paper can also be branded or third-party. The use of the latter, as is the case with cartridges, does not void the warranty.
Step 5
If you are going to print photos constantly and in large quantities, consider installing a continuous ink supply system (CISS). This design is a collection of several containers connected together that are connected to the printer. As ink of one color or another is consumed, they are topped up in the appropriate container. The advantages of using CISS include significant savings in printing costs. But there are also disadvantages: the installation voids the warranty for the printer, and the print quality may slightly deteriorate.
