It's a shame when, while printing photos, a Canon printer's color cartridge suddenly runs out of ink. As a result, it becomes necessary to replace the finished cartridge with a new one, and this, as you know, requires significant financial costs. To save money and give your color cartridge a second life, you can try refilling it yourself.
Necessary
- - ink;
- - a small box;
- - carnations;
- - paper towel or lint-free napkin;
- - Scotch
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the cartridge you want from the printer, holding it by the sides, and place it in a small box so that the nozzles do not touch the bottom of the box. The one in which he was at the time of purchase is best suited.
Step 2
Before starting refueling, read the instructions, it says what color toner where to fill. Remove the special sticker from the cartridge that covers the refill ports. Using the nail that came with the ink, carefully poke small holes so that the syringe needle can pass freely, and there is still a small gap between the edge of the hole and the air outlet during refilling.
Step 3
Prepare all the ink syringes with the needles well on them so that ink does not spill out when refilling. Take one syringe, insert it into the desired hole, slightly piercing the sponge and slowly pressing the plunger, squeeze no more than 5 ml of ink into the cartridge. Fill the rest of the holes in the same way. Wait 5 minutes for the ink to soak in and the excess ink out of the print head. Dry them with a paper towel or lint-free cloth.
Step 4
Cut a small piece of tape and seal the holes with it. Insert the refilled cartridge back into the printer, making sure it is completely dry, and clean the nozzles and align the print head several times. If the printed image appears faded, wait a moment for the cartridge to soak better.
