Instructions
Step 1
There is a specially developed technique for creating 3D photographs - anaglyph. The whole point of the technique is that the object is filmed from different points, and then all the images are combined into one. However, the desired effect can be achieved already with the finished image, without resorting to the help of photographers' gimmicks.
Step 2
Open the photo you want. To do this, select the File - Open menu. Of course, you can use any image, but you should definitely switch to RGB mode. If the photo is in another mode, go to Image - Mode - RGB Color.
Step 3
First, make several copies of the image. Right click on the Background Layer and click on Duplicate Layer.
Step 4
Make two copies. Now select the top one and go to the channels panel. The easiest way to do this is by clicking Window - Channels. Select Red channel.
Step 5
Select the entire photo, press Ctrl + A at the same time. You should have a grayscale photo.
Step 6
Then select the Move Tool and move the red channel layer to the left. Make sure the background of the image is black.
Step 7
Go back to the layers panel. Select a new layer. You've already got a decent 3D photo, so you can stop there. But there are several techniques to add depth to such an image.
Step 8
Create a mask. Select the layer and click on the button at the top of the panel. Use a soft brush for masking. Its purpose is to return the background of the photo to its original appearance.
Step 9
Move to the lowest layer. Select the red channel for it. Select the entire image. Select Free Transform by pressing Ctrl + T at the same time. Change the red channel layer. You can magnify, rotate, or distort. The main thing is that the background and the foreground layer are different from each other.
Step 10
That's all. Put on special 3D glasses and enjoy.
