In the digital age, making a beautiful picture on a wall from any image on a computer is not so difficult - especially since any landscape and any picture on a monitor screen will not look as spectacular and beautiful as on a wall with decoration and frame. You can also print photos of friends and loved ones at any time to place them on the table or on the wall. If you have a color inkjet printer for printing photos, the process of transferring a photo to paper should not be difficult for you.

Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare your photo for printing. Open it in Adobe Photoshop and use the Crop tool selected from the toolbar to crop the image. Cut off the excess, choose a composition.

Step 2

After that, resize the image - open the Edit> Image Size section and check the boxes in the Constrain Proportions and Resample Image lines. Select the desired parameters for the photo - specify the required height and width.

Step 3

Remember that a painting or photograph printed on photo paper will have a different color rendering than your monitor.

Step 4

For the most natural and true-to-life colors when printing, set up and calibrate your printer, and calibrate your monitor by checking its color settings. Adjust sharpness, brightness, contrast, and other settings important for printing.

Step 5

If you want to print a panorama that is larger than the printer's A4 size, turn the panorama photo into two images and reduce the size of each to 105x297 mm. Open a new file and open the Preset list. Select A4 size from the list with a resolution of 300 dpi.

Step 6

Now open the filter menu (Filter) and select the Sharpen section, and in it - the Unsharp Mask subsection. Specify the Amount 125%, Radius 0, 5-1, Threshold 0-4. Click OK and save the panorama in TIFF format.

Step 7

Select one of the panoramas with the Select command and drag it with the mouse cursor to the new document. Move the second panorama to the same place. Place the panoramas on a blank document one above the other and choose Flatten Image from the layers menu.

Step 8

After printing an A4 sheet, cut it in half and glue the panorama so that you cannot see the gluing border on the image.
