Step 1
Protect data stored on your phone from prying eyes. To do this, you will need to either hide files or set a lock on your phone. Take this with the utmost seriousness, because losing your password will entail big problems, right up to the purchase of a new mobile device.

Before blocking access to your phone, carefully write down all assumed passwords in a notebook - preferably well in advance of entering.
Step 3
One of the types of blocking access to the phone is SIM card blocking via pin and puk codes. When you turn on the phone, you will be prompted for a four (maximum eight) digit password. You will need to enter the correct pin code to activate your mobile device If you entered an incorrect combination 3 times in a row, after the last attempt, you will be asked to enter a puk consisting of 10 digits. Usually, the whole procedure for installing pin and puk codes is carried out when the SIM card is activated. You can leave this type of protection for your phone or, on the contrary, disable it.

The lock can be activated differently on different mobile phone models.
To enable the phone lock on a Samsung device, go to "Settings" and select "Security Settings", then click on "Phone Lock". Immediately after that, write down the password to your diary and enter this set of numbers into your phone.

If you use a cellular Sony Ericson, then to block it, click "Options" - "General" - "Locks" and "Phone lock". Immediately after that, the "Protection" option and the "On" link will appear. Enter the code you have invented, having previously duplicated it in your organizer.
Step 6
Using a Nokia phone? To block access to it, enter the "Menu", select the buttons "Settings" - "Security" (for some models - "Security protection"), then - "Security level" and "Phone".
Step 7
If your phone is manufactured by the Phillips brand, also go to the menu and choose the path: "Settings" - "Security settings" - "Phone lock". Do not forget to press the "On" key.
