The Lumia 800 is a popular device from the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia. Like other phones on the Windows Phone platform, this smartphone requires preliminary configuration for its comfortable use and downloading the necessary applications and files.
Instructions
Step 1
After purchasing the device, insert your SIM card into the corresponding slot of the device. The phone only supports micro-SIM format, so you need a card of the appropriate size. You can cut a standard card yourself to the required parameters (15x12 mm) or contact any corporate communication salon or the customer service department of your operator.
Step 2
After installing the SIM and turning on the phone, you will be prompted to make initial settings. Select the language you want to use when working with your smartphone, as well as set the exact time and time zone by selecting the appropriate city on the screen. In the list that appears, also specify the services you would like to use.
Step 3
You will then be prompted for your Microsoft account ID. If you have previously used the company's products, enter the corresponding account ID and password. If this is your first time using Microsoft services, select "Create an account" and follow the instructions that appear on the screen. During the process of creating an ID, you will be asked to set your name, login and password. Fill in all the fields and then save your changes.
Step 4
At the next stage, the phone will prompt you to link the postal service to your account. Select "Create" and enter your email details. If all the settings are correct, the phone will be able to download letters from your mailbox. You can also skip this step by clicking on the corresponding button on the screen.
Step 5
After completing the registration and specifying the required information, the phone setup procedure will be completed and the device will be ready for use. If you want to correct any data, add a new account or email address, use the "Settings" menu item. There you can also set the desired ringtone, alarm clock and more finely configure other options for your smartphone.
