It is not always possible to hope that the telephone conversation will remain in your memory, especially during critical situations. This way, you can start recording all important cell phone conversations and save them for future reference. Many modern mobile phones allow you to record incoming calls and save them as sound files to your phone. If you do not have this function, then there are several more reliable ways to record conversations.
Necessary
- - Mobile phone with call recording function;
- - device for recording phone calls;
- - record player.
Instructions
Step 1
Answer the incoming call. Most cell phones do not allow you to start recording a conversation until the call is answered. If your phone supports recording, press the Options or Settings button and then Record. You will see how a special timer will start counting down, showing the call recording time. On some mobile phones it is limited, so try to meet the required deadline.
Step 2
Notify the other party that the conversation is being recorded before you start recording any information. According to the laws of many countries, recording a conversation without the knowledge of the interlocutor is prohibited, you must obtain double consent. If you plan to use this recording for any type of litigation, you may also be sued without the consent of the other party. Sometimes only one party is required to agree, so check your local laws in advance.
Step 3
End the call. When the call ends, the recording will also stop. You can also stop recording before the call ends by pressing the Options key and then Stop. Give the sound file the desired name and save it to your phone.
Step 4
Purchase a device for recording telephone conversations and a voice recorder if your cell phone is not equipped with this function.
Step 5
Connect the recording device to the tape recorder and then place its earphone in your ear. You can also connect the phone recorder to your computer and save the sound recording to your hard drive.
Step 6
Accept the call on your mobile phone (the earpiece must be in your ear) and press the "Record" button on the recorder. The telephone recorder will record the speech of both parties on cassette tape.
