If the mobile phone has a voice recorder function, the device can be used to record not only speeches and reports, but also radio broadcasts. The quality will turn out to be low, but if the program is interesting, and there is no other recording apparatus at hand, the phone can help out a lot.

- - a mobile phone with the function of receiving radio broadcasts;
- - possibly another phone with a voice recorder function.
Instructions
Step 1
Find in the phone menu the item corresponding to the voice recorder function. For example, in devices based on Symbian 9.3 platform: "Music" - "Dictaphone". Run the application.
Step 2
Select the radio or Internet radio function in the phone menu (not necessarily the same). The new devices based on Symbian platform combine these functions in one program. In older mobile phones, to receive Internet radio stations, you will have to install a third-party program, for example, Mundu Radio. Please note that you should listen to Internet radio stations with a correctly configured access point (APN) and connected unlimited tariff, and only in your home network, and the FM receiver function in the phone does not work if the headset is not connected.
Step 3
In phones Just5, Fly Ezzy and similar FM radio reception is possible without a headset - to the built-in antenna. The receiver is turned on in them not through the menu, but by a mechanical switch. But there is no dictaphone function in such a phone, therefore, to record the radio broadcast, you will have to use a second device, which may be without a radio receiver.
Step 4
If your phone is not multitasking and will be used as both a receiver and a voice recorder, close the receiver app. To the question "Leave the receiver running in the background?" or similar answer “Yes”. Launch the voice recorder application and press the on-screen record button (red circle).
Step 5
On a multitasking Symbian phone, you don't have to close the receiver application. Hold down the menu button for more than a second, and a list of running programs will appear. Choose a voice recorder among them.
Step 6
Some phones in voice recorder mode only record sound from the microphone. Then turn on the speaker mode before closing the radio application. Do not disconnect the headphones anyway, otherwise the reception will be interrupted.
Step 7
Finally, if there is only one phone, there is a voice recorder function in it, but there is no receiver, use a regular radio receiver, a radio tape recorder, a stereo system, etc. to receive a radio station. You can just bring the device to the speaker, or you can take the headset, remove the microphone from it, and connect the wires that were previously soldered to it in parallel to the column, including a capacitor with a capacity of about 0.1 μF in the gap of each of the conductors.
