Most cell phones allow you to ring not only polyphonic melodies, but also mp3 files. In order to record the track you need on your phone, you need to pre-process it and cut it to save space on your cell phone.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, download and install the audio editor. The most convenient, providing the best quality compression, are Adobe Audition and Sony Sound Forge. Download one of them and install. After that, open the audio file intended for the melody through the "File" menu or drag the file into the working field of the program.
Step 2
Wait until the end of the download of the track, and then determine the beginning and end of the future melody. The optimum is a passage of thirty to forty seconds. Set the slider to the beginning of the melody and select the track before it starts, then click on the "Delete" button. After that, select a track from the end of the future melody to the end of the track and repeat the operation. Play the melody to make sure there are no extra pieces.
Step 3
Adapt the ringtone for your phone. The point is that the high and mids sound good on the phone, while the low and mids sound bad or don't sound at all. Use the Graphic Equalizer effect to change the strength of the frequency range, and then save the result. Normalize the track by increasing its volume to the maximum level that is possible without losing euphony. Save the resulting result.
Step 4
Synchronize your phone and computer. Install drivers for your phone on your computer and connect your cell phone to your computer using a data cable. You can find drivers, as well as synchronization software and a data cable in the box with your phone. Launch the sync software and then copy the ringtone to your phone.
