Soldering iron, battery, low-melting solder, sandpaper, flux
Instructions
Step 1
Gently sand the soldered area using sandpaper. You can also use a small knife or scalpel. At the same time, it will be possible to make an even better cleanup.
Step 2
Wipe the thoroughly cleaned surface of the battery with flux. To do this, it is convenient to use ordinary rosin, which should be carefully heated with a soldering iron, and then applied to the surface. Or you can limit yourself to ammonium chloride (ammonia) if the surface has not been exposed to greasy substances.
Step 3
Warm up the soldering iron and, using low-melting solder, very quickly solder the battery. This procedure should take no more than three seconds. It is also recommended to use a low-power soldering iron for additional reassurance.
