ICQ is an instant messaging service that allows you to communicate with your interlocutor in real time. It is widespread in many countries and is an integral part of the lives of millions of people. Installing ICQ on your phone is not at all difficult.
Instructions
Step 1
First, check if your phone supports Java and GPRS technologies. Make sure your phone is connected to the Internet, and if not, connect it. Your mobile operator will help you with this.
Step 2
Download ICQ. To do this, in any search engine enter the query: "ICQ on the phone", and in response you will be given a list of various ICQ - clients. Based on the information received, choose the client that suits you more than others, and download it to your computer.
Step 3
After you have downloaded the archive, use the WinRar program to unpack it into the current folder. Using the cable attached to the phone, or via bluetooth, transfer the 2 attached files, “jar” and “jad” formats to the phone. Before disconnecting the cable or turning off the bluetooth, be sure to check the presence of these files on your phone.
Step 4
Now on your phone go to the menu - my files - other files. There, select a file of the "jad" format, and when asked whether to install ICQ in the phone or not, press the button - install. The next question will be - "Start the application now?", Press the button - do not start. Next, either you are all right and you can proceed to the next step, or the phone will give you some kind of error. This means that at some stage you did something wrong, and most likely you will have to reinstall ICQ on your phone. Either reinstall the same program, but be more careful, or download a new one.
Step 5
The next thing you need to do is register your personal ICQ number. You can find ICQ numbers, both paid and free, on the website of the ICQ client, the constructor of which you downloaded to your computer. Also, you can request a number, but it is your ICQ - client, through the search networks.
Step 6
After you have registered ICQ on the network, enter the data specified during registration in a special form.
