Call barring is a convenient and irreplaceable service for those who want to protect themselves from calls from unwanted numbers or who want to completely take a break from incoming calls. Subscribers of the largest Russian operators only need to activate the service (using a special number).

Step 1
The company "Beeline" allows its subscribers to block not only incoming calls, but also outgoing, international calls, calls in roaming. All Beeline subscribers can get more detailed information directly on the operator's official website or at (495) 789-33-33. The prohibition is set by sending a USSD request to the number * 35 * password #. If you have not changed the password before and you have it by default, then this password is 0000. To change the password, you have the USSD command ** 03 ** old password * new password #.
Step 2
Activation of the Call Barring service at the MTS telecom operator is possible thanks to a self-service system called Internet Assistant and Mobile Assistant (just dial the short number 111). In addition, the number for sending SMS-messages 111 is available to you (the text must contain the numbers 2119 or 21190). MTS subscribers can also send an application to activate the service by fax to the number (495) 766-00-58.
Step 3
Users of the Megafon network can also block both incoming and outgoing calls (of any type: international, intranet, and so on) and SMS messages. In order to activate Call Barring, it is necessary to dial the USSD command * service code * personal password # on the mobile phone keyboard. By default, the password is 111 for all subscribers (you can change it in the phone settings). You can get the required ban service code on the company's official website (there is a whole list in a special section).
