The service called "Call Barring" will be convenient for those subscribers who wish to protect themselves from incoming calls from any numbers. The service is provided by the largest Russian telecom operators: MegaFon, Beeline and MTS. In order to use call barring, the customer will need to activate the service.
Instructions
Step 1
By activating Call Barring, MegaFon subscribers will be able to block not only incoming calls from unwanted numbers, but also outgoing calls of any kind (on-net, international and many others). By the way, in addition to calls, it is possible to block the reception of SMS messages. So, to activate the service, dial the USSD command number * the code of the connected service * personal password # on your mobile device. You can find out the required code by visiting the official website of the company (the full list of services is located in the corresponding section). The password is also not particularly difficult, since the operator has set a single code 111 for all subscribers. However, it can be changed at any time in the settings of your phone.
Step 2
In addition, the operator's subscribers should not forget about another service that allows them to avoid unwanted calls - it is called the "Black List". In order to activate it, simply send the USSD-command * 130 # to the operator or call the information service at 0500.
Step 3
Customers of the Beeline network also have the ability to block incoming and outgoing calls, calls in roaming and any international calls using the service. Detailed information is available on the official website of the operator or by calling 495-789-33-33. You can set Call Barring itself by sending a USSD request * 35 * password #. The default password is 0000. If you want to change it to a more secure one, use the special command ** 03 ** old password * set password #.
Step 4
MTS subscribers can activate the Call Barring service using the Internet Assistant control system (you can find it on the company's website). In addition, there is a "Mobile Assistant" available by number 111. You can send an SMS message with the code 21190 or 2119 to the same number. The operator provides an opportunity to send an application to activate the service by fax number (495) 766-00-58.
