Most iPhone owners have a catchy standard melody on their calls. However, if you want to stand out from the crowd, as well as highlight individual callers, then you can set a different ringtone for the iPhone call.
Instructions
Step 1
The format in which you can set a ringtone for an iPhone is m4r. In this case, the duration of the melody should not exceed 40 seconds. You can make a ringtone for your phone in special programs and applications. For example, in the Garage Band program.
Step 2
Install the program and open it. Select Ringtone for iPhone from the menu. In the dialog box, the message "create" will appear, clicking on which will take you to a full-screen menu with templates of melodies.
Step 3
Open edit and delete the track. Drag the music file you want into the window. Move the yellow bar on the track, thus choosing the part of the song that will be played when you call.
Step 4
Select the desired ringtone effects: equalizer settings, fade, volume and others. Click the "export" button and send the resulting ringtone to iTunes.
Step 5
To set an iPhone ringtone, open the "Sounds" tab in iTunes and find the file you sent.
Step 6
Connect your phone to your computer and select it from the list of devices. Check the “sync sounds” box and apply the settings.
Step 7
After syncing your iPhone with iTunes, you can set your favorite iPhone ringtone. To do this, open the "settings" section on your phone, go to the list of ringtones and click on the required melody so that a checkmark appears next to it.
Step 8
You can set a ringtone for ringing iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5 for each contact separately. To do this, go to contacts, select the required subscriber and change the settings by scrolling the screen to the "ringtone" field.
