Step 1
Use iTunes and iRinger for Windows XP to set your iphone 4 ringtone. These applications are free and can be downloaded freely from apple.com or idownloads.ru.
Step 2
Open the iRinger software, click on the Import button, which is easily recognizable by the lightning bolt icon. A dialog box will open in which you need to specify the path to the directory of music files. Select one of the melodies and click on the "Open" button. The program should convert the music composition into a format suitable for use in an iPhone.
Step 3
Wait for the music file conversion to complete. Listen to it by clicking on the Preview button. Then click on the Export button with the note image and on the Go button. The iPhone Ringtones folder appears in the My Documents section of your computer. Please note that you can only create a ringtone for iphone from one file at a time. It is also necessary to remember that the duration of the ringtone for Apple smartphones does not exceed 30 seconds.
Step 4
Connect iphone 4 to computer with USB cable. Launch iTunes on your computer. Go to the "Media Library" menu and select "Ringtones". Then click on the "File" menu and select the line "Add folder to library". Now you need to specify the path to the iPhone Ringtones folder. Select the converted ringtone file and click "OK" to complete the operation.
Step 5
Check if the selected ringtone appears in the appropriate section of iTunes. Enter the Devices menu and select your phone from the displayed list. In the window on the right, check the "Synchronize ringtones" item. If you are uploading multiple files, check the "All ringtones" box. Click on the "Synchronize" button.
Step 6
Disconnect your iPhone from your computer. Go to the phone menu "Settings", select "Sounds", and then the line "Call". Select the downloaded ringtone as your ringtone.
