Instructions
Step 1
Unpack your Epson scanner. Take the cover and insert its hinges into the back of the device. Make sure the cable is not under the cover.
Step 2
Insert the CD that came with your device into your computer's drive to install the drivers. The installer will start in unattended mode. If it doesn't, follow these steps.
Step 3
Open the "My Computer" folder using the Windows Explorer and double-click on the Epson drive. The installer will start. Read the license agreement that appears and click Agree to agree to it. In the next Software Installation window, select the necessary items for installation and click the Install button. Then follow the instructions that appear to install each of the selected items. In the Product Registration window, register your scanner.
Step 4
If for some reason it is impossible to install the drivers from the disc, download the installation files from the official Epson website. To do this, start your Internet browser and go to https://epson.ru. Click on the "Drivers and Support" link, open the "Scanners" section, find the required device and click on its name. On the next page, click on the "Drivers" link, select your operating system and download the appropriate driver. After that, double-click on the downloaded file and proceed with the installation.
Step 5
After installing the software, connect the scanner to your computer. Remove the sticker from the device. Connect the slide adapter cable, if available. Then connect the power cord to the AC adapter. Insert one end into an Epson scanner and the other into a grounded electrical outlet. Next, use a USB cable to connect the scanner to your computer. Turn on the device to get started.
