Xiaomi Mi A3 is a smartphone presented by Xiaomi in the summer of 2019. Despite its high performance, it is relatively inexpensive, but is it worth the consumer's attention and is there a need for it?
Design
In fact, the appearance of the smartphone is not much different from previous generations. If you compare it, for example, with Xiaomi Mi 9 or Mi 9SE, then the difference will only be in size. So, on the front, there is a narrow bezel screen covered with 5th generation Corning Gorilla Glass, slightly rounded on the sides. Above is the front camera in the form of a drop.
Dimensions - 153 x 71 x 8.4 mm, weight about 175 grams. With such dimensions, it is very convenient to hold it in the hand, but the mass itself is not felt. The back panel is covered with plastic. It is quite reliable, does not crack or scratch, if you carry it in your pocket with change or keys.
The fingerprint scanner is located below the screen. It works correctly, but not fast enough. You have to hold your finger for about 2-3 seconds.
There is a speaker on top of the mobile phone, and the sound is clear and loud enough. On the bottom is a microphone, USB-C port and speaker for hands-free calling. On the left side panel there is a slot for a SIM card and a microSD memory card.
Camera
On the back of the Xiaomi Mi A3 is a module consisting of three lenses, and each of them plays a role. The first lens is the main one - 48 MP. The second, 8 MP, serves as a fixed focus. And the third has a 2 MP characteristic and is needed to blur the background.
This is a good enough camera for any flagship, but this one costs 17 thousand rubles, which is extremely good for such a budget phone.
The front camera can shoot video in 4K quality at 30 frames per second. The front camera has 32 MP and, unfortunately, does not know how to shoot video in this quality.
The color palette is preserved, as are the shadows. "Soap" in the photographs is absent even in night mode and when zooming.
If necessary, some dimensions can be changed in the camera settings.

The mobile phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor in conjunction with an Adreno 610 graphics processor. The operating system is Android One. Built-in memory - 64 or 128 GB (depending on the configuration), can be expanded using a microSD memory card. The RAM reaches 4 GB.
The phone does not support 5G, since at that time it was not relevant for this network. The diagonal of the display is 6.088 inches, the extension is 1560 x 720 pixels. The battery is quite capacious - 4030 mAh. In comparison, the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 3,300mAh battery. In 30 minutes it charges 50 percent, in 1 hour and 30 minutes the device can be charged 100 percent.
