Some mobile phones have a memory card lock function. In addition, a USB flash drive can be blocked in other ways, including through simple protection of files from deletion.

Step 1
Go to the security settings of your phone and unlock the flash card by entering the password you have set to view the files on it. If the access code to the files was set using third-party tools, unlock the card using the same program that you used when setting the protection. Please note that the versions of the applications must match in this case.

If access to your flash card was restricted without your intervention, and you do not know the password to unlock it, format it first using the Windows operating system from the “My Computer” menu, and then format it through the memory card menu of your mobile device.
Step 3
To unprotect the files on the phone's flash card, slide the switch to the Unlock position. This type of blocking provides for the protection of card elements from deletion, movement, renaming and other operations with files.
Step 4
If you have problems accessing files on the flash card of a Nokia mobile phone (this often happens in models using micro SD) and access to many functions of files on it is restricted (inability to use music as a call, opening files with third-party applications, flash drive does not open on the computer, is not checked by antivirus, and so on), use the card recovery through the phone menu.
Step 5
In this case, if it is possible to access the card, check it for viruses, but in most cases, when you try to access files, the autostart simply reappears on it. The only solution to this problem is to format it completely through the phone, which cannot be done without formatting it through a computer, which also causes certain difficulties.
Step 6
Therefore, boot your computer in safe mode and start formatting the card by connecting it through a card reader. You can try it through the phone, however, most likely, you will not achieve a positive result.
Step 7
Format the card through the "Administration" menu in the computer control panel, then insert it into the phone and format it through its menu. Reformatting is required. The downside here is the impossibility of creating copies of files before completely deleting them, so periodically create backups on your computer.
