When a lot of different messages of an advertising nature from a mobile operator are systematically received, there is a chance that you will miss an important message from family or friends. In addition, frequent notifications about the arrival of a new sms distract from work and do not allow you to completely relax during your vacation. There is a possibility to disable the "Service messages" option in the "Megafon" network.

Instructions
Step 1
Try to disable service messages in the Megafon network in your phone settings. Go to the sms menu, select the "Parameters" or "Settings" section, then the "Information messages" subsection and then "Operator messages" or "Information service" (depending on your phone model). Change the option "Enabled" to "Disabled".
Step 2
Go to the official page of the Megafon network, select the Help and Service section and register in the Service Guide system. Having entered the "personal account" after logging in to the system, select the section "Service Guide Settings" on the main page. In the submenu that opens, select the item "SMS notification". In the table that appears, uncheck the checkboxes you do not need in front of this or that item, which will mean refusal to receive system messages in a particular case. Then click the "Apply Changes" button.
Step 3
In addition, in the "Help and Service" section on the main page of the operator "Megafon" you can ask the question you are interested in to the Online Consultant. To do this, select a subsection with the appropriate name, write your name in the form that appears and wait until a connection is established with the service operator. Communication takes place in chat mode.
Step 4
Contact the nearest Megafon Sales and Customer Service Center with your identity documents and a service agreement. Ask the salon specialists to amend your contract with the operator by adding the item: "Refusal to receive advertising SMS messages." If you are denied such a request, threaten that you will complain to the Office of the Federal Service (UFS) for supervision carried out in the field of communications, as well as to the UFS for supervision of consumer protection (this is especially true if you inform about the connection of any paid service that you did not order).
