Cellular users can turn off the Internet on Megafon from their phone so as not to overpay for unnecessary services. To do this, the operator offers to dial one of the special commands on the mobile device.
Instructions
Step 1
To completely turn off the Internet on Megafon from your phone, dial * 527 * 0 # from the keyboard and press the call key. After a while, you will receive an SMS notification that the service has been successfully disabled. If you have an Internet connection with an add-on in the form of Opera Mini, try using the command * 105 * 235 * 0 # to disable it.
Step 2
Use one of the special commands from your phone to turn off the Internet on Megafon as part of one of the unlimited packages. For example, to deactivate the "Basic" package, dial * 236 * 1 * 0 #. You can cancel the "Practical" tariff using the command * 753 * 0 #. To deactivate the "Optimal" package, execute the request * 236 * 2 * 0 #, and the "Progressive" package - * 236 * 3 * 0 #. Finally, the Internet "Megafon-Maximum" is disabled by entering * 236 * 4 * 0 #. Remember to press the call key when you finish typing any of the commands.
Step 3
Try to disable unnecessary mobile Internet options from Megafon from your phone. This includes the "Extend Speed" option, which restores the connection speed if the traffic package specified in the tariff is exceeded. To do this, send an empty SMS message to 000105906 or use the combination * 752 #.
Step 4
You can also turn off the Internet on Megafon through your personal account on the operator's website or contact the communication salon for this. This may take more time, however, this way you can more accurately find out which Internet options are active on your tariff, and make sure that you turn off the really unnecessary ones.
Step 5
If you do not know what type of mobile Internet is active on your device or need help to deactivate the service, contact the support service of the Megafon operator at 0500. In the main menu, press the "0" key to connect with the support employee. Ask him to name the available options or immediately turn off the Internet completely on your phone.
