Necessary
6-point star screwdriver with T10H bit, flathead screwdriver or any other tool such as a knife to lift the top panel cover, any narrow tool to release the top control panel latches
Instructions
Step 1
We unscrew the two screws on the right.
Step 2
From the front, gently lift the top panel with a knife, insert a narrow screwdriver into the resulting gap and carefully press on the 2 latches towards the front of the MFP. At the same time, slightly press the panel upwards with a knife to snap it off.
Step 3
We do the same with the back of the top panel. There is only 1 latch and you need to press in the opposite direction.
Step 4
There are 2 latches left in the middle. It is more convenient to raise the back of the panel, you can do this with your hands, insert a screwdriver into the resulting slot at a distance of 1/3 of the body width from the back and slightly push towards the front of the MFP. At the same time, we pull the panel up to snap off the last panel latches.
Step 5
Upside down top panel removed. The location and direction of the latches are clearly visible.
Step 6
Unscrew 2 more screws securing the scanner panel.
