Necessary

Sony Vegas software version 7 or higher

Instructions

Step 1

Open the Sony Vegas program and add the necessary audio, video and pictures to it: click the File> Import> Media menu item, select the required files and click "Open". The open files will appear in the Project media window.

Step 2

Move them from there to the working area of the program: hold down on them with the left mouse button and drag. The audio recording will be displayed as one track, and the video recording will be displayed as two (sound and, in fact, video). To delete an unnecessary track, for example, you do not need an audio track for a video, left-click on it and press Delete on the keyboard. You need to click not on the "body" of the track itself, but on the panel with settings to the left of it. If you click on the "body" before deleting, then after clicking on Delete, the video associated with the audio track will also be deleted.

Step 3

Since a certain video sequence will correspond to the music, so it is worth thinking about its semantic load. Experiment with the location of the files. To move a certain segment, hold down on it with the left mouse button and move it to the desired place. Both audio and video tracks can be edited. To do this, click with the mouse in the place where you want to make an incision and press S on the keyboard. The segment at this point will be divided into two other segments, each of which can also be moved and edited. To delete an extra segment, select it by clicking on it with the left mouse button and press Delete. To shorten the duration of a segment, it is not at all necessary to cut off excess from it. Move the cursor over the edge of the line and drag inward as far as necessary.

Step 4

Keep in mind that the video tracks that are in the top positions overlap the bottom ones when viewed. Pictures and video files are responsible for the visual image, so they can be placed on the same track. Press Alt + 4 to bring up the viewport. View control buttons (Play, Pause, Stop, etc.) are located at the bottom of the viewer and are duplicated at the bottom of the program.

Step 5

To save the result, click the File> Render as menu item, in the File Type field, select, for example, Video for Windows (*.avi), specify a name and click Save. A window will appear showing the rendering progress of the project. Once completed, the Open Folder button will become active. Click it to move to the folder that contains the result of your labors.
