It is necessary

  • - audio editor Adobe Audition;
  • - video file with music.

Instructions

Step 1

Open the audio track of the clip in Adobe Audition. This can be done using the Open Audio from Video command on the File menu.

Step 2

Use the Play button from the Transport panel at the bottom left of the program window to play the music. You can do the same by pressing the "Space" key on your computer keyboard. If necessary, increase the volume of the loaded sound. This can be done using the Normalize filter from the Amplitude group of the Effects menu. Enter a value in the Normalize to field, click OK and listen to the result.

Step 3

Remove unnecessary fragments at the beginning and end of the clip, if necessary. In order to do this, set the cursor to the position in the audio recording, after which the fragment of the clip that you are going to save begins. While holding down the left mouse button, select a portion of the sound wave from the position of the cursor to the beginning of the sound. Remove the selection by pressing the Delete key. In the same way, remove the extra fragment at the end of the clip.

Step 4

If necessary, you can add a second of silence before the music starts. To do this, place the cursor on the location in the audio recording where the silence fragment will be added and use the Silence command from the Generate menu. In the window that opens, insert the duration of the silence in seconds and click OK.

Step 5

Save the processed audio. To do this, use the Save As command on the File menu. In the command settings window, enter a name under which the audio from the clip will be saved. Select the type of file to be saved from the drop-down list at the bottom of the window. Click on the Options button and adjust the compression settings. If you save music from a clip in mp3 format, you will need to specify the bitrate of the saved file. A pretty reasonable solution would be to keep the audio at the original bitrate. You can get information about the original bitrate of the saved sound by opening the folder with the clip in the explorer and right-clicking on the video file. Select "Properties" from the context menu. In the properties window, switch to the Summary tab and click the Advanced button. Click the OK button in the mp3 options window and the Save button.
