Instructions
Step 1
Connect your GeForce 8500 graphics card to your TV using composite video, since many modern TVs have an RCA or Scart video input. Use the special adapter that comes with the video card. If you do not have one, then you can buy such a device on the radio market or at any computer store.
Step 2
Connect the TV cable to the adapter. After that, put your TV in the "video" mode, ie. press the AV button on the remote control. After that, connect the adapter to the computer by inserting the GeForce 8500 video card into the corresponding connector. Turn on your PC.
Step 3
Insert the supplied GeForce 8500 video card driver disc into your computer. You need to run the Nvidia Control Panel setup program. If you have already installed it, then just right-click on the desktop and select the appropriate item.
Step 4
Click the Video & TV tab and select Launch the Add TV Wizard. In the window that appears, click the "Next" button. In the next step, check the box "Composite signal type" and determine the format of the TV signal, which should correspond to the settings of your TV.
Step 5
Proceed to the next item. The display mode window will open, in which you can choose one of the three proposed options. Dualview allows you to use your TV as a second desktop. The Expansion mode splits the image in half between the main monitor and the TV screen, and the Clone mode is used to display the same information on both screens.
Step 6
Set the display mode settings, video signal standard and adjust the TV settings (brightness, saturation and contrast). Save the specified settings and complete the TV setup wizard.
