Updating applications installed on the iPhone does not imply in-depth knowledge of the operating system of a mobile device and can be performed by the user without the involvement of additional third-party software.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that the version of the desired application is compatible with the iPhone software: determine your software version ("Settings" - "General" - "About this device") and check the application requirements in the AppStore.
Step 2
If the application is incompatible, update the firmware of your mobile device and install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
Step 3
Open the AppStore app on iPhone and click the Updates button in the right corner of the bottom toolbar of the app window.

Wait until the available updates are determined and click the Update All button in the upper left corner of the application window, or specify the required application in the list and update it manually.
Step 5
Enter the account and password values in the corresponding fields of the request window and wait for the update installation process to complete.
Step 6
Press the "Start" button on the computer to open the main menu of the operating system and go to the "All Programs" item to perform an alternative procedure for updating applications installed on a mobile device.

Select iTunes and launch the program.

Expand the "Applications" item in the left pane of the iTunes program window and click on the arrow next to the "Check for updates" line in the lower right corner of the application window.

Wait until the available updates are determined and click the Download All Free Updates button.

Select the programs to be updated in the list if you need to perform the operation in manual mode and click the "Update" button.

Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable, and specify your mobile device in the iTunes pane.

Select the "Programs" section in the top bar of the opened device window and apply the checkboxes in the fields of the applications to be updated.

Click the Synchronize button to update the selected applications.
