The need to synchronize the communicator is due to its functional features. Mobility, while remaining the main advantage of the device, imposes certain restrictions on the capabilities of the communicator. That is why the communicator is a great addition to a desktop computer.
Necessary
- - Windows Mobile 5.0;
- - Active Sync 4.5.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install Active Sync 4.5 from the Microsoft official website.
Step 2
Connect the communicator to the USB port using a data cable and wait for the system message about new Windows Mobile-based hardware detection.
Step 3
Click the Next button in the Synchronization Setup Wizard dialog box that opens.
Step 4
Apply the check boxes for the desired file types in the Synchronization Options section of the new dialog box and click Next to confirm your choice.
Step 5
Click the "Finish" button to confirm the command execution.
Step 6
Connect the Bluetooth adapter to an available USB port to wirelessly sync your device to your desktop computer.
Step 7
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Control Panel" item.
Step 8
Expand the Bluetooth Devices link and click the Add button to launch the Bluetooth Connection Wizard tool.
Step 9
Click the Hardware tab and make sure Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and Generic Bluetooth Radio are listed.
Step 10
Go to the "Options" tab and apply the checkboxes in the "Enable Discovery" fields in the "Discovery" section and "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer" and "Notify when a new Bluetooth device is connected" in the "Connections" section.

Go to the "COM ports" tab and note the number of the incoming port that appears.
Step 12
Click OK to apply the selected changes and go to the File menu of the Active Sync window.
Step 13
Select "Connection Options" and apply the check box next to "Allow connections to the following objects", specifying the saved incoming port number.

Open Active Sync on your device and select Connect via Bluetooth from the application menu.

Click "Yes" in the dialog box prompting you to install the Bluetooth community and specify the selected computer in the next dialog box.
Step 16
Set the access key and re-enter the selected key on the computer and click the "Finish" button in the new dialog box that opens.
Step 17
Synchronize the device using the above procedure.
