Instructions
Step 1
Install the software that came with your phone. It is required to synchronize your device with your computer. If there is no installation disc with programs, go to the website of your phone manufacturer and ask where you can get it. Then download the program to your computer and install it.
Step 2
Find the Sync Manager app. After installing the software, the corresponding icon usually appears on the desktop. It is often accompanied by the logo of your phone manufacturer. If you cannot find the icon on the desktop or main menu, use the search function and type "Sync".
Step 3
Establish a connection with your phone. To start the synchronization process, connect your phone to the USB port of your computer using the appropriate cable. It is not always included with your device - in this case, you will need to purchase it separately.
Step 4
Synchronize your phone with your computer. After connecting via cable, the synchronization process will start automatically. Follow the instructions to transfer your address book, contacts, calendar dates, or notes and to-do lists to your computer. If the process does not start synchronizing automatically, press the Sync button.
Step 5
Always keep your phone fully charged to avoid accidentally losing important data. Install an antivirus program to protect your phone from possible viruses on your computer.
