To start using the option that allows you to make calls to Slack, first of all, enable this feature using the "Command Settings" => "Calls" tab. As soon as you activate this mode, calls will immediately become available to you. The option works on Mac, Windows and iOS. As for group conferences, only those users who use the paid versions of the application will be able to use them.
As soon as the activation is completed, all people from the address book will receive a notification that this function is available. Following this, an icon with a small phone depicted on it will be added to each contact. By clicking on the icon, a call will be made to this or that person.
At the moment, Slack is gaining popularity in the world, bypassing competitors, and many today consider it the most promising startup of all. Slack is striving to beat even Skype, and the addition of video calling functionality to the program was a big step in strengthening the competitive strength of the evolving application.
