Apple introduced IOS 11 - an operating system that left a mixed impression after the presentation. Many have already installed this firmware on their devices, looked at how it works, and used it.
How iOS 11 works on devices such as: iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6

iPhone 5s
After updating to IOS 11 from IOS 10.3.3 (this is the old ios), the phone turns on 14 seconds slower (loading takes 50 seconds instead of 36). The conclusion is disappointing, especially when you consider how many updates this phone received since its release in 2017 in version IOS 7. Five updates, each reducing performance by an average of 10 seconds. In addition, 5 updates for the iPhone, as the practice of previous versions shows, is almost a record. With each subsequent device, it starts to work worse and worse, which at first trains your endurance, but then leads to the impossibility of its operation.
iPhone SE
This is not such an old version of the iPhone, it is still on sale today. Consists of a 64-bit dual-core Apple A9 processor and 2GB of RAM. It turns on on IOS 11 in 22 seconds (IOS 10.3.3 - 19 seconds). As you can see, the drop in performance with each new update is normal for the iPhone, but in comparison with the iPhone 5s SE, it did not work much worse with the new operating system.
iPhone 6
The update release is the same performance degradation as in the previous two examples. It is worth noting that this is IOS 11 - not such a global update; in fact, it only updated the interface, icons, and accelerated the animation. In principle, the iPhone SE and iPhone 6 can cope with this, but their performance will significantly decrease, and there is no need to talk about updating the iPhone 5s.

In os-11, when the home button is tapped and the owner is successfully authenticated via Touch ID, the iPhone or iPad immediately displays a springboard. And since this process occurs quite quickly, it is sometimes even difficult to keep track of which program the notifications came from on the locked screen. How IOS 11 devices connected to this access point will be prompted to distribute a password. Click on the message and the password will be automatically filled in on the guest device. A striking difference between the old update and the new one!

A new option "Change with buttons" has been added to the settings for sounds and tactile signals. If the switch for this option is off, then at any point in the system you will change the volume of system notifications and, for example, the sound in games, and in order to change the ringer volume you will have to go into the settings again. No matter where you are. If you activate this switch, then on the desktop and in system applications, the buttons on the case will change the ringer volume, and in third-party games and applications - the sound volume.
- Siri was created unambiguously for voice communication, but in crowded places and in rooms with strong echoes, words are not always recognized correctly. In such cases, it's best to go to Settings> General> Accessibility> Siri> Typing for Siri. Now, when you call Siri with your voice, a line will appear at the bottom, prompting you to enter a request through the keyboard.
- You can also turn off your phone if the power button is broken. So, Settings> General> Turn Off. But to turn on the smartphone, you just need to put it on charge.
- The new firmware has the long-awaited function of recording video from the iPhone screen. Settings> Control Center> Control Settings> Add Screen Recording by clicking on the +.
So, the conclusion, it is better not to update to iOS 11 if you have an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or iPad of the most bearded generations. On these devices, the latest edition does not matter, and the battery charge goes away much faster. And it will be almost impossible to roll back to IOS 10, it is no longer signed by apple.
