A battery is a source of electricity that ensures the autonomous operation of any device or device only as much as its charge capacity allows. They are disposable (galvanic cell) or multiple (battery) use. Both those and others need to be replaced periodically. As for replacing batteries in watches, cameras, flashlights, everything is simple here - the main thing is to buy a battery of suitable power and not to confuse plus and minus.
Instructions
Step 1
But if, for example, you need to replace the battery in an iPhone or laptop, you will have to tinker a lot or use the services of a service center (recommended for an inexperienced user). Avid lovers of electrical engineering and electronics, of course, will not miss the opportunity to gain experience, and will get down to business on their own.
Step 2
In the case of the iPhone, first unscrew all the bolts, carefully remove the display. To do this, slowly raise the screen (about 450) and sequentially disconnect all the cables.
Step 3
Remove the SIM card, disconnect 3 (for 3G) or 4 (for 3Gs) rubber cables.
Step 4
Next, you need to carefully peel off the edge of the sticker with the inscription “Don’t remove” (if you are not afraid to void the warranty), unscrew 8 screws.
Step 5
Then carefully lift the camera up, disconnect the ribbon cable. Gently pry up and take out the main board. Here is the battery.
Step 6
Pull it out carefully, being careful not to bend it. Replace with a new one, repeat the procedure in reverse order.
Step 7
Notes: it is better to buy a battery with a connector to avoid the process of soldering wires; be sure to complete several full charge / discharge cycles of the new battery; check the quality of the new batteries first.
Step 8
If, inspired by success, you decide to go further and, for example, on occasion try to replace the cmos battery on the laptop motherboard on your own, remember that this will require three times more patience and dexterity, as well as contact soldering skills, at least.
