If just a few years ago a device with a touch screen was a gimmick, now almost everyone has it. But whatever the progress in the development of modern electronic devices, and whatever quality they have, nothing is insured against all kinds of breakdowns.

It is necessary

Screwdriver set (T4, T5, T6, etc.), thin wood or rubberized stick, new touch screen

Instructions

Step 1

If for some reason the touch screen of your "device" requires replacement, first find out the exact model of both the device itself and the screen. Although now you can buy any spare part for a certain thing, but still play it safe so as not to make a mistake.

Step 2

The exact model of your device (phone, tablet, etc.) is indicated in the technical data sheet, look at it (it will be useful later when ordering or buying parts for repair).

Step 3

Find complete instructions for disassembling your "device". Such an instruction may be in the same technical passport, but if it is not there, find such a disassembly guide on the Internet (it is better if it is a video instruction).

Step 4

Choose the right screwdrivers and disassembly tools (almost all manufacturers attach parts of their devices to various bolts). Unscrew all bolts and remove all parts that prevent the shield from detaching.

Step 5

When you get to the screen, look at the exact code. It is usually indicated on the bottom of it.

Step 6

Buy the exact same screen in a convenient way (it is better if you bring an old display to the store). If you cannot find exactly the same screen at the place of residence, then place an order via the Internet (if the matter is not urgent, then it is better to order from abroad, for example, from eBay, it will be released longer, but cheaper).

Step 7

After purchasing a new display, remove the old one, which is attached to the main board with a ribbon cable. Be careful, the cable is very thin, so disconnect it without sudden movements with a mild wand (if the thickness of your fingers allows you to do this, then you can use your finger).

Step 8

Also carefully connect the new shield by inserting the ribbon cable into the slot on the board.

Step 9

Assemble the device following the reverse order of disassembly. Tighten the bolts firmly (but not with full force). Turn on the device to make sure it works.
