Step 1
A typical view of a breadboard is shown in the figure. There are more complex samples, there are simpler ones. But the principle of the device remains the same. The breadboard consists of a plastic base with many holes, usually with a pitch of 2.54 mm. The holes are needed in order to insert the leads of radio elements or connecting wires into them.
Step 2
The figure shows another breadboard. On the left is a general view, on the right the conductors are marked with color Blue is the "minus" of the circuit, "red" is the plus, and green are the conductors that you can use as you see fit. Note that the holes are not connected along the breadboard, but across.
Step 3
To acquire the skill of working with a breadboard, you need to assemble the simplest circuit, as shown in the figure. Connect "plus" to the positive pole of the battery, "minus" to the negative. The wires are red and green, the breadboard tracks are pale red and pale green. If the circuit is assembled correctly, then when you press the button, the LED should light up. You can see that it was not required to pick up a soldering iron to assemble the electrical circuit. It's fast and convenient.
