Buying a satellite dish is not only the first step towards multichannel television, but also the acquisition of a number of problems that need to be solved the sooner the better. This is not only about connecting the device, but also about setting up the broadcast signal, which you can set up yourself if you wish.

Instructions
Step 1
Align the NTV dish in accordance with the azimuth and angle of its future location. Focus on the compass data. Using the instruction manual, connect the cable leading from the convector to the antenna. The so-called "cutting" of the F-connector is carried out in a standard way:
- remove the upper cable insulation by about 1.5 cm, while not damaging the shielding braid;
- place it along the cable and then carefully lay out the foil along the braid;
- remove the layer of internal insulation by 1 cm, screwing the connector all the way down. In this case, the central conductor must be "nibbled" so that its protrusion behind the connector is no more than 2mm.
Step 2
Connect the digital receiver to the TV (following its operating instructions). Then turn on the TV and choose any popular TV channel: RTR, NTV, etc. Take your time to move the satellite dish mirror in different planes (horizontal or vertical) around the intended location of the satellite. As a result, an image should appear on your TV screen. Keep in mind that after each turn by 1 degree you need to wait 3-5 seconds (during this time the signal reaches from the antenna to the "box").
Step 3
In the menu of the satellite receiver, select the item "Received signal strength". It needs to be activated. The maximum value of the received signal level can be achieved by smoothly moving the antenna mirror in two planes, vertical and horizontal. It is important to remember that the signal strength can largely be influenced by weather conditions. Heavy rain, snow or even cloudiness can contribute to both a decrease in quality and, in general, to complete disappearance of the image.
Step 4
Tighten the adjusting nuts before relaxing on the sofa and enjoying the multichannel TV experience. Do this work while monitoring the signal level in parallel. Then insert the "NTV-Plus" card into the satellite receiver according to the instructions and invite your loved ones to a family TV viewing.
