Nowadays, people do not have difficulty buying cameras. Rather, on the contrary, almost everyone has such an opportunity. Someone is content with cameras built into the phone, someone buys expensive professional installations for work. But most people have low to mid price digital cameras. And we will make the camera ourselves. Not out of need, but for the sake of experiment.

Instructions

Step 1

To prepare a simple camera obscura, we just need to strictly follow the procedure and stock up on materials. We take any suitable container, be it a box, a tin can, or even a can for photographic film. We also need a thin needle, scissors, a small piece of foil, black tape or electrical tape, black and white photographic paper or slide film (the manufacturer does not matter).

Step 2

Cut a hole in the middle of our container with scissors. Let it be a film jar. The resulting hole should be much larger than a pinhole (lens in a pinhole camera).

Step 3

We cut out a piece of foil of such a size so that it can completely and with a small margin close the cut hole. Next, in the middle of a piece of foil, make a small hole with a needle. Make sure the surface of the foil is smooth. Smooth it out if necessary and / or remove any roughness with zero-grade emery paper. The smaller the needle hole we get, the better the shot will be.

Step 4

In order to avoid reflections of light rays in the container, you need to paint it, as well as the foil on the inside with a matte black paint.

Step 5

Now carefully glue the foil to the container with electrical tape or black tape. With a small piece of tape we will glue the hole from the needle to prevent premature penetration of light into the camera.

Step 6

Now we are looking for a dark corner (this is important) and insert the photo paper into the container. Insert so that the paper does not cover the pinhole. We check all the holes. If they are securely closed, then our camera is completely ready for use.
