Step 1
If you think your phone is being tapped in any way, make sure it's true. If you have a smartphone, see the list of programs running on your mobile device - they can often be installed along with other applications. Also check the internet traffic counter for the current time period and call duration.
Step 2
In this case, it is best to reset these indicators periodically so as not to be confused with real information. Always check outgoing traffic. Delete all applications from your phone, perform a factory reset, put a prompt before connecting the device to the Internet.
Step 3
If it seems to you that your conversations on the Internet are being tapped (for example, when using the Skype program), look at the list of current processes in the task manager and also make sure that Radmin or similar utilities are not running on your computer for remote access to computer. In this case, it is best to reconnect both subscribers by changing the IP address, or even better, by using a proxy server.
Step 4
To protect against wiretapping, it is better to use digital communication technologies, since analog ones are very unreliable, and only certain employees of mobile operators and special services have access to decryption equipment for conversations over cellular communication.
Step 5
If you want to stop listening to your conversations, it is better to change the phone number and the device, since the operators have information about your IMEI. It is best to buy a SIM card not in your own name, since the operator also knows your data up to your location in meters. After turning off the phone, also remove the battery and SIM card from it.
