Modern digital cameras often have a shutter sound by default when the shutter button is pressed. But not everyone likes this setting. If this sound distracts or annoys you, you can turn it off.

Step 1
Turn on the camera. Open its menu by pressing the "Menu" button on the control panel. With all the variety of camera models, their settings are controlled according to similar principles.

You will see several different menu tabs on the camera display. Using them, you can control shooting parameters (flash settings, digital zoom, backlight) and technical camera settings (screen brightness, file numbering, sound settings).
Step 3
Use the camera control keys to select the tab responsible for the settings for the camera. The option you need to turn off the shutter sound may be in the menu item "Change beeps" / "Sound settings", depending on the camera model.
Step 4
In the menu item responsible for setting the sound, you will see several options for the sound accompaniment of photo operations. For example: timer sound, start sound, operation sound, shutter sound. We are interested in the last point. Use the menu control buttons to select the desired volume of the shutter sound, up to its complete mute.
Step 5
In the same way, adjust all the other sound parameters of the camera to your liking.
