The iPhone X was introduced by Apple and has a highly mixed reputation. Is it worth the attention of consumers and is there a need for it?
Design
The smartphone is available only in two color variations - silver and black. And if in the second version the body is covered in black everywhere, then in the first case the back panel shimmers beautifully in the sun, and the sides are chrome-plated.
The camera sticks out a little from the body, and this is inconvenient. It is difficult to get an iPhone out of jeans - the module clings to the fabric. This was done to prevent the device from sliding on the table, but it only creates the risk of damage to the lens. Therefore, it is recommended to carry the device in a case, which, unfortunately, is not included in the kit.
The case will also help protect the phone from damage caused by a fall. Since the back panel is glass, it is very likely to crack even after being hit from a low height.
Also, do not forget about the paint. If you handle the iPhone carelessly, it will quickly get off the case, and ugly places will appear. And this, unfortunately, is a matter of time.
There is also a bang on the area of which the front camera is located. Many users have different opinions about it, but the bulk of it does not like it, and therefore the developer allowed the opportunity to disable it in the settings.
Camera
The front camera has 7 MP and, in principle, does not differ much from other good flagships. She can automatically recognize the main subject of the image and blur the background, but in general she has no distinctive features. It does not shoot videos in 4K quality - the maximum quality is 1080p at 60 frames per second.
The main module has a 12 MP dual lens. The main difference from the iPhone 8 Plus is that the lenses are OIS. The first deals with the color palette, makes the picture more saturated and detailed. The second is needed for zoom. There is obviously a difference between them.
The main camera can shoot videos in maximum 4K quality at 60 frames per second. The camera is not bad, and if we compare it, say, with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, then in some scenes the iPhone has an advantage, in some - the Samsung.
Specifications
iPhone X runs on iOS 11, but sometimes it gets updated and some system bugs are fixed. Internal memory is 64 or 256 GB - it all depends on the configuration. The RAM is only 3 GB, which is quite small when compared with other flagships. IP67 protects your smartphone from moisture and dust.
The battery capacity is 2,716 mAh, which is very small. With active use, it is not enough even for the whole day. There is a fast charging mode, but a separate adapter is needed.
