What to do if you don't need the "SMS Package" service from MTS? You connected it and realized that you are not sending so many messages. The way out is simple - disable the service.
Instructions
Step 1
There are two ways to disable SMS packages. The first one is using an SMS assistant by sending a message to a short number. The second one - via the Internet, on the official website of MTS, using an Internet assistant.
Step 2
In order to deactivate the service using the SMS assistant, send an SMS to the short number 111 with the text corresponding to your SMS package. To disable the 100 SMS package, send 00100, 00300 - for the 300 SMS package; 00500 - for 500 SMS package, 001000 - for 1000 SMS package. The phone should receive a confirmation that the service has been disabled.
Step 3
To disable the SMS package through the Internet assistant, follow the link https://ihelper.mts.ru/selfcare/?home, enter your phone number and password. If you are not registered in the Internet assistant, use the instructions at this address: https://www.mts.ru/help/selfservices/issa/, registration will not take much time.
Step 4
In the Internet Assistant, enter the "Tariffs and Services" menu on the left side of the screen, a drop-down list will appear, select "Service Management" in it, or click on the "View the list of services" link on the right side of the window.
Step 5
The link will open a list of all services that you have connected. Find the SMS package you have connected. There is a "Disable" button opposite each service. Click it to deactivate the service.
Step 6
A window with information about the service will open. Click the "Disable Services" button. Wait for confirmation, it should come to your phone via SMS. If it does not arrive during the day, try disabling the service again.
Step 7
If you cannot turn off the package either by SMS or by using the Internet assistant, call the MTS contact center at 0890 and contact the operator for help by pressing "0".
Step 8
One-time SMS-packages do not need to be disabled, after a month the service will be automatically disabled.
