There are several ways to uninstall, as well as to download applications on the iPhone. The use of this or that depends on the source from which the program was installed. After reviewing the basic options for uninstalling applications, you can choose the one that suits you.
Instructions
Step 1
The first method is suitable if an application from the App Store was installed on the iPhone, and it does not matter if it was done from the phone menu, or by syncing the device with iTunes.
Step 2
Select an application on the iPhone screen, touch its icon with your finger and, holding your finger in this position for 2 - 3 seconds, wait for the moment when the application icons begin to "shake". Click on the cross next to the icon to uninstall this application. Press the Home button to return the screen to normal.
Step 3
The second method will be relevant if you install the application from Cydia - a software shell that is installed on the iPhone after jailbreak. It is impossible to remove applications from Cydia in the standard way - the cross simply does not appear next to the icon after switching the working area of the screen to the application editing mode.
Step 4
To uninstall an unnecessary program, open Cydia, search for the application you installed and click the Modify button in the upper right corner of the screen. A menu will appear on the display, in which you must press the Remove button to remove the program.
Step 5
The third method is suitable for those who are used to managing the contents of their iPhone from iTunes on a computer. ITunes can only uninstall apps that were downloaded to iPhone from the App Store.
Step 6
Launch iTunes, connect your iPhone with a USB cable, and go under Devices to the Applications tab. Here, uncheck the box next to the app you want to uninstall, and then sync by clicking the Sync button in the iTunes menu.
