Instructions

Step 1

Find the karaoke-equipped clips you would like to record. This can be done using any free Internet file hosting service. In addition, you can find such clips on pages that provide online karaoke services. You can download files from there using a special DownloadHelper plug-in, which is embedded directly into the browser and subsequently launched together with it.

Step 2

If the downloaded files are in Flv format, they will need to be converted to Avi format before burning to DVD. This can be done using special programs such as Format Factory. You can find it at formatoz.com. The program is quite easy to use and has a simple interface that is understandable at an intuitive level and does not require training.

Step 3

Launch a disc burning program such as Nero Burning Rom or Ashampoo Burning Studio. If such software is not installed on your computer, you can find and download it on the official website of the developers. Although these programs are rarely free. Usually, a trial period from 10 days to 1 month is provided, during which you can use the program without using an activation key.

Step 4

Select the "Burn DVD" tab in the program. Then specify the type of the future disc, write speed and write down the project name. Add the selected clips to the list of recording files using the explorer. Then press the "Start" ("Burn") button and wait for the end of the burning process. It can take anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes, depending on the quality of the disc, DVD drive and selected speed. You can save the project to your hard disk and burn it again to a new disk if necessary.

Step 5

At the end of the burning process, open the disc and check the quality of the resulting recording. If it was damaged for some reason, you can try again by reducing the write speed.
