You can install a tracker program on a smartphone equipped with a GPS receiver. After that, provided that the program is running, its location can be determined from a computer connected to the Internet.

Step 1
Make sure that the phone is connected to the Internet at an unlimited rate, the access point (APN) is correctly configured in it - its name begins with the word internet, not wap, and that it has a SIM card purchased in that region, in which the device is supposed to be used. Please note that it is most advisable to use a smartphone with a built-in GLONASS or GPS receiver as a tracker, since a phone with only Java is a single task, and an external navigation receiver is inconvenient to carry with you all the time.
Step 2
Install a tracker program on your phone that is suitable for its operating system. For example, for Symbian - My World GPS Tracker (manufacturer - JasperGoes), for Android - Live GPS Tracker, for Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7 - TrackMe. Download the program only from the developer's website or from the official app store, otherwise it may turn out to be fraudulent. Run the application and then create an account on the server. Depending on which program you have chosen, registration can be carried out through the interface built into it or through the website. In the second case, you will see a link to it in the tooltip, or the browser will start automatically. During registration, be sure to come up with a complex password. If you would like to monitor your child, do not provide the login information to him. Tracking the movements of adult family members is possible only with their consent.
Step 3
Find the item in the program settings that allows you to define the circle of persons who can track the movement of the phone. Select the option in which this can only be done by the person who entered the site under the username and password you created. Also, configure the program so that when you restart your smartphone, it will start and enter the network automatically. Log into your account on the site from a computer, and bring the device to the window. Make sure its location is shown correctly. Keep in mind that if your phone is lost or stolen, the tracker program may not help, since hackers can detect and close it. A child who does not want to be watched by his parents can do the same, so it is important to explain to him that such surveillance is necessary for his own safety.
