Soldering a chip to a board requires experience in soldering. It is unlikely that the first time the result of your work will be perfect. There are also some requirements to consider regarding the equipment you are using.

- - rosin;
- - awl;
- - coaxial cable;
- - soldering iron.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the necessary tools - tubular flux with rosin inside, liquid rosin on alcohol, awl of the right size, soldering iron and wire. One of the requirements for a soldering iron is that it is best to have a temperature controller. Also, if you do not want to accidentally pierce your chip with a shock of static electricity, use a soldering iron with the ability to zero the tip potential on the microcircuit.
Step 2
Place your chip on the board, secure it in position and start soldering. If the chip holds well and without glue, do not use it unnecessarily. The quick-drying "Moment" is best for soldering, if you still need to use it to fix the position. Pay attention to the potential equalization of the board and tip of the soldering iron you are using.
Step 3
Using a brush, apply liquid rosin to the legs of your chip, then solder it. Do not heat too long to prevent the legs from peeling off, do not use pressure when soldering so as not to break the chip. This is where a low melting flux can help.
Step 4
Remove excess solder using specially prepared stranded wire. In doing so, try to act as carefully as possible so as not to damage the results of the work you have done. If possible, cut off the sections of the wire that have hardened tin. Rinse the board in acetone to remove any remaining traces of rosin.
Step 5
Please note that when soldering chips, there are several conditions that must be observed to obtain the best quality work results. For example, you need to use high quality soldering equipment or at least replace the tips on it.
