According to the law on consumer rights, within 14 days from the date of purchase, you can return the purchased product, including the camera, to the store without giving any reason, if it has not been used. With you, you must have the product itself and a receipt confirming the fact of purchase. You can also return the camera under certain other conditions.
Instructions
Step 1
The reason for the return of the goods is the presence of a defect that was not found during the initial inspection in the store when the camera was packed. Example: stuck keys or buttons, inability to use a standard function, and the like. It should be obvious that the malfunction did not appear as a result of use (especially misuse), but through the fault of the manufacturer, carrier or store.
Step 2
Having found such a malfunction, go to the store along with a full set of purchased equipment (camera, instructions and documents, wires and discs) and a receipt. State the essence of your problem, demonstrate the malfunction. You will be refunded or given another camera of the same model.
Step 3
If the camera is in good working order and has not been used, then within two weeks from the date of purchase, you can return it to the store by presenting a receipt. You will be refunded for the equipment.
Step 4
When returned on the day of purchase, the money is returned to the buyer from the cashier of the store by check. In this case, the check must be signed by the head of the organization or his deputy. For the amount of the refund, an act is drawn up in the form of KM-3, approved by the decree of the State Statistics Committee of Russia.
Step 5
Refunds do not take place on the day of purchase or if the receipt is lost, the money is refunded from the main cash desk on an outgoing cash order. The basis is a written application of the buyer in any form and an identity document (passport). In the event that a faulty camera is replaced with a working one (and not a refund), the seller accepts the old product from you and sells a new one.
