Chinese cell phones stand out from all the rest with their attractive price, combined with a wide range of different functions. The desire of manufacturers to reduce the price of devices is realized by making them as simple as possible. Therefore, certain types of repairs are quite affordable even for beginners.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - USB connecting cable;
- - soldering iron;
- - spare parts.
Instructions
Step 1
To remove accumulated errors and viruses from the phone software, as well as to unlock the device protected by an unknown password, prepare a Windows computer and a USB connection cable. Connect the device to your computer and find the standard DiskPart.exe utility. In this utility, from the Computer Management menu, select Disk Management. In the list of equipment that appears, find a separate disk with custom settings. Delete all contents of this disk. Unfortunately, in this case, all information stored in the memory will be irretrievably lost.
Step 2
If your phone has been exposed to water, try to remove the battery from it as soon as possible. In order not to waste time, you can even take it out directly under water. Then pull out the SIM card as well. Disassemble the phone by separating the plastic parts of the case. Then wipe the microcircuits with napkins or a handkerchief, dry with compressed air. For example, using a vacuum cleaner. But do not use hot air in order not to overheat the parts of the cell. Fill a container with dry rice and immerse the machine in it. After a day, take out, collect and check the performance.
Step 3
If you suspect that any element of the phone is inoperative, solder all its tracks. To do this, use a 25W soldering iron with 6-12V power and ESD protection. The soldering iron tip should be no more than 3 mm in diameter. If you don't find that, just sharpen what you have. To avoid overheating of the tracks when soldering, warm up the soldering iron, unplug it and work with it until it cools down. Do not use acid when soldering. Use neutral fluxes, at the very least, rosin. Wipe the contacts with alcohol immediately after soldering with rosin.
Step 4
The repair of Chinese phones, associated with the replacement of individual parts, has one unpleasant feature. Not all spare parts are commercially available and not every part can be transferred from one machine to another, even if they are the same. The fact is that manufacturers from China like to use different parts in the same models. So, be careful, even if you use a non-working mobile phone of the same make and model as a source of spare parts. Read carefully the part markings, if any.
