Copying contacts from phone to computer is usually done differently for different phone models. Usually this can be done using special programs that allow you to synchronize your phone and computer.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - program;
- - mobile phone.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, figure out what program you need to sync your computer with your phone. Find information on the official website of the phone manufacturer. Install the program on your computer. Please note that for phones based on Android OS you will need a created account in Google, Windows communicators are synchronized with Outlook, for Nokia you will need Nokia PC Suite, synchronization is also carried out with Outlook, contacts are copied from iPhone via iTunes.
Step 2
After you have made sure which program you need, download it to your computer. Follow the installation instructions. Then connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable. Wait for the computer to recognize the device. If the connection is made for the first time, the waiting time can be up to several minutes.
Step 3
Further actions depend only on the features of the operating system. In the iPhone, in the device manager on the computer, select the "Information" tab, from there import the contacts. In Nokia, follow these steps: Menu-Contacts-Settings-Copy-from sim-card to phone memory-All at once-Move (in the phone), Nokia-Synchronize-Settings-Create new settings-Outlook (in the computer).
With Android, copying is carried out as follows: synchronize with your Google account, then go into the account itself and click "Import", all phones will be saved in Google.
Step 4
Some phone models have so-called "vCards" - business cards. In this case, you can create a business card on your phone. Then copy the created business card to a flash card. Insert the flash card into a special reader connected to the computer, or connect the phone itself to the computer. Now import the phone from the flash card to your computer. The action is similar to copying files from different drives inside a computer.
