To check the legality of the phone that you are going to buy, you need to follow a few simple steps.
The first thing to do when you go to a store is to see if there is a copy of the permission to sell mobile communications at that point of sale in the “buyer's corner”.
Step 2
Remember that each device has a unique international IMEI code. It is marked on the case where the battery is inserted. Look for the exact same code on the original packaging and in the warranty card. The code must be the same in all three places.
Step 3
After the seller provides you with the connection of the selected phone and verification of all its functions, dial "* # 06 #" on the phone. The screen will display the IMEI code, which must also match the ones already checked. Otherwise, it will mean that the phone will be "flashed". Do not purchase such a device under any circumstances.
Step 4
To finally check the legality of the phone, send an SMS with the IMEI code to the short number 307. Almost immediately you should receive a message whether this mobile phone is in the white list of the UGRTS database or if there is no such IMEI.
Step 5
Even if you have already paid for the phone and issued the documents, you have every right to return it, since, according to the established rules of trade, this phone is not of adequate quality.
Step 6
In order not to fall for the bait of scammers, be careful when choosing a store. Ask how long the organization has been operating, look at reviews on the quality of their service on various sites and forums.
