Step 1
If the modem malfunctions, first of all check the connection between the device and the computer. Then check that the data entered is correct for the network connection you are using. If you have an alternative access to the Internet, you can also look at the necessary settings on the official website of the provider, and also contact the technical support staff for information. Also, make sure that the malfunction is not caused by ongoing repair work.

Make sure you have the driver installed on your computer. Please note that it must match your hardware model. Go to the properties of the "My Computer" menu and in the window that appears, go to the "Hardware" tab.

Find your device in the Modems menu and check for a driver. If it is not available, install the necessary software that comes with the purchase on special disks. If you have a USB tethering, the software must install itself.

Reinstall the device driver from the Add / Remove Programs control panel menu. Please note in this case that it is best to install the latest software versions for correct operation of the modems. Some drivers are installed along with the software for the motherboard. After restarting the computer, reinstall the driver on the modem again.
